The centre forward has signed a three year contract, with a club option for the 2027-2028 season.
Ambrose began his football career in Nigeria with Optimum Academy in Abuja before moving to Turkish club Balikesirspor's youth team in 2021, where he was promoted to the senior side after finishing the season as the top scorer. In November 2022, he signed for Újpest, where he made his Hungarian top flight debut against Zalaegerszeg and played in 45 league games, scoring nine goals in his most productive season that recently concluded.
